About Us

The author of Schizophrenia Solution.org is Suzanne Ayer Patterson. Suzanne is the mother of a son who was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and took his life at age 21. During her son’s illness and especially after his death, Suzanne contacted Dr. Jose R. Mackliff, founder of the BEAM Procedure, and extensively researched the scientific basis for BEAM and why it works. This research coupled with two years of research at UCLA Biomedical Library resulted in Dr. Mackliff co-authoring a book titled A Life Worth Living – Schizophrenia Alternative Treatment.

In May of 2015, Suzanne traveled to Ecuador with a Mexican camerawoman to film interviews with Dr. Mackliff, Dr. Oscar Sanchez and Dr. Frank Sanchez and with two of their patients who had had BEAM surgery four years prior to the interviews. These interviews showcase the miraculous results of the BEAM surgery.

Funding is currently being solicited to complete a documentary film titled, A Life Worth Living – Solution for Schizophrenia, which will include case study footage shot by Dr. Mackliff.
