Testimony of Guadalupe, December 17, 2017
Good morning Doctor!
The reason for the message is to thank you for the years you have devoted to scientific research, leading to the discovery of the operation to heal schizophrenia, which was practiced on my cousin in the previous weeks. I have noticed many changes from it, mainly in the fact that she no longer listens to voices, which were constant before the operation.
Since my cousin was discharged by you, her behavior has changed, it is easier for her to have a better social life despite her intellectual disability.
My aunt is much happier, and the medication she is given now has reduced from 12 different pills a day to only 3 daily.
For all the above, I would like to thank you for not having given up on your investigations, and I take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas in the company of your loved ones.
Luz Leon, cousin of his patient Guadalupe !!!
Testimony of Olga Meraz
My name is Olga Meraz, and I want sincerely and wholeheartedly to give a testimony. We have come to Guayaquil, Ecuador, with our daughter Melissa who sadly has suffered from chronic schizophrenia for about 12 years. On the day April 19, 2016, Dr. Jose Mackliff made a wonderful surgery for our daughter, with immediate results in her favor. My daughter had many changes in her person. Like you who have a relative with schizophrenia, you know what I mean, and those who do not know those symptoms, the patients who suffer can summarize them quickly. Some have bipolar disorder, mood swings, aggressiveness, irritation, stress, depression, and among many, the saddest wish is to end their own life. I want to tell you that lately Melissa laughed alone and with much more frequency. Her gaze often unpleasant, and especially with much insomnia, has stopped. First let me say that I thank you very much to God first, and then to Dr. Mackliff for this fabulous Surgery, where changes are immediate and where there is no doubt that our daughter and family will start a fresh new life with very good quality. I do not want to miss mentioning the excellent treatment by the doctors and clinic staff where the surgery was performed, to encourage you to contact Dr. Mackliff who like for us can help you with all our heart. I bid you farewell, but not before leaving you my phone number to call us and with any questions. We gladly will help 619-548-98-30. a hug and a thousand benedictions.
American Woman Who Had the BEAM Procedure (Patterson, 2014)
Today, I spoke with a woman in Colorado (Annabel Chavarría) who had left her number in a testimonial on the BEAM website. I could hardly bear hearing her story; it sounded so much like my son’s story. It was very emotional for her also, and she began crying.
It started when she was fourteen years old. She suffered severe depression and started doing abnormal things. After a while, she couldn’t function at all. She could not even take a shower. She was put under psychiatric care at Kaiser, and they diagnosed her as bipolar with psychotic episodes. She was put on one medication after another throughout her medical care at Kaiser until 2010.
At age twenty-one, she felt like she would kill herself, and she prayed to God to send her a treatment. Her aunt called her soon after and told her that she had watched a special on Univision, the Mexican cable channel. In the special, a doctor from Ecuador had talked about a treatment for both Parkinson’s disease and schizophrenia. It was new and revolutionary but had gotten good results in the patients who had tried the procedure. Although there were several successes with Parkinson’s, he had only performed the surgery on patients with schizophrenia six times.
The girl was elated and told me that she would rather have died trying than not to have tried at all. She called Dr. Mackliff, and he told her that the diagnosis she received from Kaiser was not a real diagnosis. He said that she had schizophrenia and that she should come to Ecuador as soon as possible to have the BEAM procedure. She was the seventh patient with schizophrenia that he operated on.
She began talking so quickly and excitedly that I was having trouble understanding: “After only two days, I felt at peace and the possibility of becoming normal again. I was so completely different than how I was before having the procedure.”
To whom It may concern,
Hi. I am Annabel Chavarría. By means of this letter I want to share my experience. On April 2010 I was operated in Guayaquil, Ecuador for my symptoms of schizophrenia by the famed Ecuadorean Psychiatrist, Dr. Jose Romeo Mackliff. The surgery on me had extraordinary and fabulous results, and due to that fact, I am now completely normal in my everyday life.
I am currently attending Metro State University for my major in nutrition. At the same time, I work for the fast food restaurant franchise, KFC—Kentucky fried Chicken, at 4740, Bromley Lane in Brighton, Colorado where I work as a supervisor. To this day I consider myself a productive and very successful person; but it wasn´t always like this.
Before my surgery, I was completely ill and couldn´t function as a normal person, who works, studies, and takes care of her daughter and sometimes, I couldn´t even take care of myself—things that I now do effortlessly. When I was ill, my thoughts were so terrible and strong that it was impossible for me to go back to normality. I couldn´t think right. Now, I am totally grateful for Dr. Mackliff since my life has changed, and I feel reborn. I wish this surgery could be performed in the United States, so that many people who are ill could be saved. I want to let you know that if you need any information from me, you can contact me directly. My phone number is 720-569-6368
Mother from Chili
Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2015
Dear Dr. Mackliff;
I traveled to the beautiful city of Guayaquil to be motivated by the great hope of recovery of my son who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and today, 15 days since the intervention of BEAM surgery, I return to my country (Chile), even more hopeful.
In this short period of time I have already observed in my son the positive effects of the intervention: the expression on his face is now one that which was lost many years ago; his eyes radiate life; he is cheerful, motivated, eager to succeed, talks much more than before and his social behavior has also improved. These conditions had not been possible to retrieve with medication that he had taken for seven years.
I am sure that if we follow each and every one of your recommendations my son will recover his health and win this battle.
I want you to post my experience on your Web page so that my testimony can help others to make the decision to have this procedure that is effective, and can save thousands of people who suffer from this malady, and help to find a definitive solution to this disease.
I felt very honored to have known both you and Dr. Sánchez. Both make up a unique medical team, and I feel that the world of medicine is unfair to you since they are not able to recognize the enormous contribution to humanity that you have achieved with your research and the BEAM surgery.
I cannot finish my testimony before saying that what has called me to your attention is your vocation of service, humility and medical wisdom and life. Today it is very difficult to find these qualities in people as materialism prevails as the universal power in this world.
I give you my email address so that people who want, can contact me with confidence; firstname.lastname@example.org
The case of Sergio (April 2012)
Age: twenty-one years old.
Residence: Mexicali, Baja California.
A patient with seven years of schizophrenia who has been institutionalized on five different occasions (for two to three months) due to episodes of severe aggression.
High level of apathy and lack of motivation (past 4 years)
For the past year, he defecates and urinates in a diaper.
For eighteen months, he has not spoken to relatives; he just screams and walks in the nude in the house.
His encephalogram revealed a brain dysrhythmia.
Shows symptoms of autism.
Sergio’s medication before the surgery was clozapine, valproic acid, topiramate, and risperidone.
He has not had any changes in his symptoms for years.
On April 3rd, 2012, Sergio had his first consultation in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Sergio couldn’t answer any questions. His head was low, and he was looking at the floor. A few minutes after the appointment started, he kicked the desk—interrupting the examination.
On April 6th, 2012, he underwent BEAM procedure.
Two days after surgery (April 8), the patient started to talk to the doctor and engaged in conversations with his own relatives. He asked to go to the bathroom and was able to defecate and urinate by himself. The family and relatives expressed their amazement with his forty-eight-hour recovery.
At the present time, Sergio lives with his family. He is constantly displaying his good mood, helps his mother at home, runs errands, and accompanies her.
His actual treatment is 200 mg of clozapine and 200 mg of sodium valproate—lesser dosages than before receiving the BEAM procedure.
Dear Dr. Mackliff:
I want to inform you how my son Sergio Alejandro has improved after the BEAM surgery on April 7, 2012. His symptoms were: visual and audio hallucinations, he would see and hear things that would scare him and make him run without apparent motive, anxiety and aggressiveness (he would destroy furniture, (he wanted to choke me and my daughter several times), he had no sphincter control and had to wear diapers, he would only answer yes/no, and he did not eat. It was very painful for our family. After the surgery he started going to the bathroom by himself, and little by little he started waking to reality again, and all of his previous symptoms are disappearing. He is now taking guitar lessons, plays soccer, and is attending a short program to finish high school. I Hope this testimony is helpful to new patients.
Our best Regards,
Greetings from your patient Sergio Alejandro, just to let you know that I am doing well, feeling healthy and writing you from my computer, which I now can operate well and can play games on. I am having guitar classes and trying to pass my test in order to get my diploma in school. I study one assignment a month, and do physical exercise twice a week.
Dear Dr. Mackliff & Dr. Sanchez,
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you peace and happiness to you and your relatives. We’ve had the good fortune of having among us two pioneers like you in the area of Schizophrenia.
Every doctor that we went to did not give us any hope that Alex (36 years) would be normal, since he’s been isolated into himself for 15 years, non-affectionate or social; he’d answer with just a yes or no sometimes. I’d always say that the impossible was possible, and I just wanted him to be normal again. If we could support and contain Alex all these years, it was due to our daily practice of SGIAR, now SGI-USA (192.SGI worldwide). So it was my son Sebastian & Jason, looking up in the internet for possible cures who found Dr. Mackliff and Dr. Sanchez and read everything about your research and your successful surgeries in Parkinson and Schizophrenia.
We started saving to go to Ecuador from Las Vegas, Nevada—USA. It was a great adventure for us, since these two doctors were our only hope. I tell you it wasn’t easy, but that’s what our practice is for. We told Alex we were going on vacation to Ecuador.
On April 8 at 12:30 everything was ready, and so was Alex. The surgery lasted only 3 hours, and it was just a matter of waiting to see any changes. The first thing that changed was the stiffness in his face, his expression softened. The second change was that he answered faster with complete sentences. Third, his smile reappeared; every now and then he even makes jokes with us.
We left with much gratitude to these wonderful doctors of hope. Every day there is a new improvement. I ask him whether his thoughts are clearer, and he says yes.
I thank you so much doctors for giving us the hope of having my son back.

Dr. Jose Mackliff
I presented catatonic schizophrenia at 21 years of age in 2005. My symptoms were that ideas came to my mind all the time, and I heard voices. This was during the first few months, until one day I showed certain catatonic states, and with my mother we went to see my boss at work, who was a psychologist, and she suggested that we go see a psychiatrist since she found me rigid.
After many tests, the physician that took care of me at the social security determined I had catatonic schizophrenia. From then on we continued treatment at the Psychiatric hospital.
By 2007 I had a relapse; the symptoms that I had at the beginning came back. Then in 2010, later in 2011 I had other relapses that I was able to overcome.
At the beginning of 2012 I read in the newspaper about Dr. Mackliff and the solution to my disease from a surgery. We contacted him and on June 5, 2012, thanks to the Lord, I was able to have my surgery.
Just a few months after my surgery I have seen my improvement; symptoms have almost disappeared. Only rarely I felt that sensation in my skin that appeared a year after the surgery. Right now I feel well. I am studying the first semester in the career of information networks in an institute here in Guayaquil, with the treatment of Dr. Mackliff.
I thank you doctor for your treatment and, after the Lord, you have been the solution to my disease, my family and I thank you, forever
Dr. Mackliff, we want to let you know that the terrible symptoms of chronic Schizophrenia in Tuly subsided a few months after the surgery. Tuly was operated on June 2007. From then on she has lived a normal life with us, inside the family group. We want to thank you for your professional services that allowed improvement of my daughter´s quality of life, which seemed impossible with medication over the years.

Dr. Mackliff, a few lines to let you know about my son, Jayro, who was operated on June 14 2014. His recovery is favorable since he is already attending his music lessons in the afternoon three times a week. Also he is helping in the mornings in our store with price tags and checking invoices. He has improved a lot. He has not had the crisis like he had before the surgery. He is no longer in a bad mood and violent; what still remains is a little bit of fear. I Pray to God that he fully recovers since on the 14th it would be two months from the surgery. Doctor, if you have any suggestions for my son, please let me know
